What we will cover
Five subjects, in this order, with the documents on screen where they matter.
What you actually own
The home is held in a dedicated unit trust with a corporate trustee as the registered proprietor. You hold units recorded on the trust unit register, under a co-ownership agreement your solicitor is welcome to read before you commit. We will show you how that works and what it means in practice.
How the nights work
How nights are allocated across a year, and how the peak and school holiday rotation decides who gets which of them. So you leave knowing how a calendar is agreed rather than assuming you choose.
What it costs, in full
The entry price, the structuring fee as its own line, the stamp duty position, land tax and how materially it varies between states, the monthly Property Operating Levy and the reserve contribution. We would rather you heard the ongoing costs from us than found them later.
Who manages it, and what that covers
You own it. We manage it. What Copay does between your stays, who to call when something breaks, and where the boundary sits between the service and the owners.
How an owner sells
What the co-ownership agreement says about selling your units, the process for it, and the things Copay does not promise about it.
Meet the founders
Both founders present the session and answer the questions themselves.

Copay is Elate Holdings Pty Ltd. More about us.
A place to call your own.
Copay buys one home at a time, for the people who registered interest in it. A small group of owners shares that home, each holding a real share of it through a dedicated unit trust, and Copay runs it for them.
You own it. We manage it.
Come with the difficult questions
The session is built around the questions people hesitate to ask. Bring yours. We would rather answer them live than have you find out afterwards.
- Is this a timeshare, and if not, what makes it different.
- What happens if another owner stops paying their share.
- How do I get out, how long does it take, and what happens to my units.
- What is not included, and what does Copay refuse to promise.
- Can my solicitor and my accountant read everything before I commit.
- What happens to my nights if the home needs major work.
Come and ask us anything
