Ownership, not access

What do I actually own?

One home

One specific holiday home, at one address, with a maximum of eight owners.

Your share

Units in the dedicated trust that owns that home, recorded on its unit register. Usage, costs and exit are set out in the co-ownership agreement.

Copay manages it

Genuine ownership

Six things that make it work.

  1. Genuine ownership

You hold a genuine interest in one specific premium holiday home.

  2. A small ownership group

Each home is shared by a limited number of owners. Never more than eight.

  3. Structured usage

A coordinated calendar gives every owner fair and reliable time at the home, with peak periods rotated.

  4. Professional management

Copay manages the property, scheduling, cleaning, maintenance, bills and owner coordination.

  5. Shared costs

The purchase price and ongoing property costs are divided across the ownership group, in proportion to the share each owner holds.

  6. A resale pathway

A defined process for selling your interest when you are ready to move on.

Leave it to us

Who gets Christmas?

Time at the home follows the share you own, with peak periods rotated across the ownership group.

The co-ownership agreement sets out your nights, how dates are chosen and the rules for peak periods.

Selling your share

What to understand before you buy

Ownership comes with costs, responsibilities and limits. Review the details before deciding.

  • Costs continue between stays. Your share carries ongoing costs even when you are not using the home.
  • Peak dates are shared. Usage follows the agreement and its rotation rules. Do not assume a particular holiday period is yours.
  • A sale is not guaranteed. There is no promise of a buyer, sale date or resale price.
